Graduation season is upon us. It is time to celebrate and give praise to your hard working loved ones for getting though the trials of high education. We’ve compiled a short list of devices just in case you’re having a hard time coming up with gift ideas.
Most grads attend graduation parties, and travel out of the country to celebrate their achievements. An obvious essential to carry around is a selfie stick.
This particular model is $21.99 on Amazon. Utilizing Bluetooth technology, this device is connects to your phone and your grad is able to snap his/her selfie through the handle.
Having vinyl is cool again. If you want your grad to be cool then get them a record player.
This one is currently only $72 on Amazon right now. Reviews say that this perfect for someone who is getting into vinyl but doesn’t want to spend a fortune. This model is built for portability, and also features an auxiliary cable for those that don’t have any records yet but still want to look hip. That being said, the speakers on this aren’t the best so consider plugging into higher quality speakers when you’re not on-the-go.
Now that you grad has a record player, having these speakers will step up his or her vinyl game.
This model is only $28 on Amazon. It is small, portable, and has a huge sound for such a small device. There is convenient Bluetooth connectivity to a phone or mp3 player, and an auxiliary input for your turntable.
Your grad is about to join the real world. They may join a corporation or even start their own business, imagine how qualified they would look walking into the office or meeting a CEO while wearing a smart watch…
Three more popular smart watch choices are:
Just recently released, any grad would love to show off how hip they are with brand new tech. Starting at $349 the Apple is a bit pricey, but there are currently over 3000 apps (and many more to come) that are available for the brand new device. This is an iOS device and will only work with an iPhone. (Stay tuned for an Apple Watch Review Video.)
The LG Urbane is the more “classy-looking” choice (in my opinion). Starting at $349, this time piece seems best suited for people who dress to impress. This is an Android device and will only work with an Android phone. The application selection is not as substantial as Apple’s or Pebble’s, but from what I’ve seen this wearable is simple, easy-to-use, and looks like a high quality time piece worth showing off.
For those that want a simple watch with virtually endless features then the Pebble is perfect. With over 5000 available applications, a battery life of 7 days, both iOS and Android compatible, and starting at only $99 the Pebble watch is a watch “made by real people, for real people.”
