Business Email Security & BEC Protection
Email is where most attacks start, and business email compromise is how most businesses actually lose money. One convincing message can change payment instructions on an invoice.
We manage email security end to end: filtering what comes in, stopping others from spoofing your domain, catching account takeovers, and investigating suspicious messages when your staff ask “is this real?”
What’s included
Who it’s for
Any business that sends invoices, moves money or handles sensitive information by email, especially insurance agencies, staffing firms, construction companies, financial and legal practices.
An insurance agency and a staffing firm
For an insurance agency, we deployed advanced email security and used message-trace investigations to work out exactly where a suspicious message came from, who received it and what it did. For a San Fernando Valley staffing firm whose domain was being spoofed to candidates and clients, we enforced SPF, DKIM and DMARC and added impersonation protection.
Frequently asked questions
Someone is sending emails that look like they come from our domain. Can you stop it?
Yes. Configuring SPF and DKIM and moving DMARC to an enforced policy tells receiving mail servers to reject messages that fake your domain. We set this up carefully so your legitimate mail keeps flowing, and then monitor it.
What is business email compromise?
BEC is when an attacker uses a compromised or impersonated email account to trick someone into sending money or data, often by changing payment details on a real invoice. Prevention combines email security, MFA, monitoring and payment verification processes.
Do you offer email security outside California?
Yes. Email security is fully remote and available to businesses anywhere in the United States.
